Traveling Between Quilting Motifs

Some fill designs, like meandering or vines, have a natural flow that makes it easy to fill the desired area. When dealing with individual motifs, however, we need to consider how we’ll join the motifs while still traveling gracefully around a space. The photo below demonstrates some simple variations for stitching lines to connect the leaves.
